Last night I held Halloween Bunko at my house. Everyone came in costume and we all had a good laugh at what we were wearing! Makes for an entertaining evening. I'm so glad to have such a great group of friends who enjoy spending time together and being stilly every one and awhile. :)

I love decorating for parties! I painted these pumpkins (my mom painted one too) for the table decorations. For the placemats I used scrapbook paper. Great idea from The Hostess With the Mostess blog. Makes for a fun table I think.
Dining Room, I got these apothecary jars for my birthday from my parents. LOVE THEM! They will be fun to fill for all occasions.
The food... well, part of it.

After being in our house for 4 months now I still don't have a clue as to what to do over the mantle! So, for this shin dig I decorated with the Bunko Prizes (chalk board candy jars) and hung paper for the girls to tape pictures of themselves as a child dressed up on Halloween. We voted for the best dressed in the pasttoo. Candice won, dressed up as a wall outlet.

Looks like a fun bunco! If it makes you feel any better, we had been in our house 4 YEARS before I was somewhat satisfied with our mantel. Still am not sure about it, though...

Cute! Cute! Cute!! I am a bit jealous that I was not at this fun party!! Looks like you all had a great time and there are some really good ideas on coustumes, yours turned out great!! I LOVE all the decorations! You can tell that you put a lot of thought and time into it and it turned out great! The gloves are so cute and I love the painted pumpkins! don't you wish you could keep those! I am picturing some good pics of Drew in his Halloween costume with those in the background. :) Love the new dining room furniture and couch!! Looks great!!
Yay! What a fun time! You ALWAYS out do yourself and this time was no exception. Everything was delicious and the decorations were wonderful. It was so good to finally see your beautiful new house. Things looked just perfect! Thanks for having us.
